The third most important step is making a cash envelope system budget.
This part is a little bit tricky and you’ve to be careful because no you decide how much of your money gets spent on each of the expenses. So from the previous month’s data or your personal knowledge, you can associate different amounts to each expense.
Another trick is to take the average of the previous three months’ spending on each of the categories and a lot of that amount. For example, you spent on groceries $450 in October, $400 in November, and $470 in December. The average becomes $440 in the past three months. So you can lot that amount to Groceries expense.
